A pod cast is much like a blog except instead of it being the written word, it is recorded. By uploading to your server the .mp3 files of anything that you record and "plugging" it in to your pod casting service [I am omitting all of the techno-babble] your subscribers can listen through the software that they install on their computer.
How does it work? It is a lot like listening to the radio. The "tuner" on the listener's computer is set to check your pod cast "station" periodically (determined by the listener) and the new audio files that you added get sent to the listener's "receiver" and then your pod cast is heard through their speakers.

There are other great resources out there in the digital world that offer information specifically for coaches. We subscribe to a magazine that was written by coaches for coaches. If you are so inclined, sign up to receive your own copy delivered to your mail box. Not your In box. You remember what a mail box is don't you? The rectangular thing outside your front door that has paper stuffed into it. Actual paper! :o) Seriously, it is a useful magazine.
